Lopapeysa - where does it come from?
We are very ambitious about our Icelandic "Lopapeysa". It's made of a pure Icelandic wool in several traditional patterns. We also make scarves, mittens and caps to go with it. It's made by Icelanders and sold in Icelandic souvenirs shops all around the country.

First there is a sheep...

Then there is the yarn...

Then there is an eager knitter,,,

And here is the scarf......

.... in many colors

"lopapeysa"

... more "lopapeysa"

... and no, we don't have pink and red sheep here in Iceland, we  just color the yarn :)
